Sample Day on our Retreats

Each of our 5 (or 6) night meditation retreats is unique in that we tailor the activities around the needs of the people on each group. By running retreats with only a handful of people each time, we can really listen and honour what is wanted by each person individually – as much as we can.

Generally though each day has some supported time outside exploring the amazing landscapes here – both along the coast and by the rivers. This is done in “Slow-Time” where you are encouraged and shown how to really take in the stunning environment on every level in a meditative way – to really commune with nature.

We also have daily supported meditations and teaching sessions inside, either at our beautiful Rose Sanctuary or within the retreat house. During each retreat, everyone also gets the opportunity to chat privately with Maddie to talk through any challenges or difficulties they are going through on the retreat and/or in day to day life.

We also make sure you have plenty of time to yourself for rest, walks on your own (if you want to explore the area more) and time to read, or chat with others. Of course included are our delicious home-made plant-based meals, breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks along the way.

This is a retreat holiday with a difference in that you are supported, nurtured and be bathed in the beauty of nature.
