Our Beautiful Sanctuary in Wales
Our Retreat Centre The Beacon Centre is nestled amongst some stunning hills right at the edge of Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park (https://snowdonia.gov.wales/ ).
Bathed by birdsong amongst the verdant trees in an area that has precious areas of ancient woodland.
We also have a tumbling stream which is fantastic to meditate alongside.
We have no near neighbours and are off-grid, fully powered by solar panels. We have virtually dark skies so it’s a fantastic place to bathe in star and moonlight.
This place is a total jewel in a stunning landscape!

Meditation Sactuary
We also have a beautiful healing sanctuary sitting alongside the stream.
It is a wonderful space for deep meditative practices as well as comfortable and filled with natural light. Most people find that as soon as they enter, they just want to sit down and never leave!

We are way from other houses and roads and yet only a car/bike journey away from Machynlleth with its vibrant market and communities and good public transport links. We can provide a mini-bus service from your accommodation to our centre (near Machynlleth) each day for our Alumer Retreats.
There are many beautiful walks immediately around us, where you might meet the occasional sheep, hare or swallow. Even though there is public footpath not too far away, it’s very rare to see anyone else pass by!
